Are There Key Differences In Natural
Vitamins?
It seems as though wherever we go to
shop for our vitamins or supplements we
see the words organic or natural. What
exactly do natural vitamins have that
makes them different? Typically, the
biggest difference between vitamins that
are called natural or organic and ones
that are not is the way that they were
manufactured.
When you shop for vitamins, you
sometimes will see different kinds of
labeling that suggest things such as ?
all natural? or ?Not tested on animals?.
The key differences between choosing
natural vitamins and regular vitamins
can be as subtle as the process in which
the nutrients are extracted and put into
the capsule, or as broad as how they
were fabricated and the origin of the
nutrient. Some companies will only
provide the nutrients in their vitamins
that are from certain localities and
from certain variations of the plant or
source of the nutrient. Other companies
may buy their nutrients in bulk and make
the supplements out of them.
It is really a matter of preference when
it comes to choosing natural vitamins
versus other kinds of vitamins. Most
people question if there really is a
difference in the quality of the
nutrients that are in them and the
answer can depend greatly on the
individual brand. If you are looking for
a pure grade version of a nutrient in
its more natural state, you may want to
take a look at the natural vitamins. If
you are not as concerned about where or
how the nutrients were made into
vitamins, you would probably choose the
vitamins that do not say all natural.
One of the biggest differences that is
usually the most noticeable between
natural vitamins and those that are not
is the price. You will often expect to
see a much higher price tag on natural
vitamins. This is because the pure
extracts of the nutrient are more
expensive to import and it takes more
money to process them in a way that
retains their natural levels of
nutrients. Some people feel that the
higher price is worth it for knowing how
and where the nutrients came from and
how they were made.
When it comes time for you to choose
between different vitamins, the best
thing to do is compare them side by side
to see how potent the nutrient content
is in the vitamin and if there are any
artificial ingredients that have been
added to them in the process of making
the vitamins. If the vitamin does not
state that it is all natural, there is a
good chance that there are some
artificial ingredients added to make up
for the pure forms of nutrients. Some
people feel it is worth the extra money
to choose natural vitamins and know
exactly what is in them and what they
are getting for their money. A good way
to find out if you can tell a difference
is to try different kinds and see if you
notice any changes in the color, texture
and potency of the vitamins.
